Oakland envisions a new waterfront baseball stadium

Under the leadership of Mayor-elect Jean Quan, the City of Oakland will soon begin the public process to approve a 39,000-seat baseball-only waterfront ballpark, with retail, office and residential units and 2,500 off-site parking spaces. The goal? To keep the A’s in Oakland.
