Oakland Art Census and “ArtistSpeak” panel tonight: Artists, time to stand up and be heard!
The Art Census is an online survey conducted by the nonprofit Support Oakland Artists (SOA), which will inventory and assess the economic and community impact of the arts in Oakland. ArtistSpeak! is a free public forum featuring a panel of Oakland-based artists and arts advocates discussing key issues effecting the arts community as we prepare to elect the next Mayor of Oakland. The event takes place October 14 from 5:30 to 8:00 pm at the Oakland Museum.
